Welcome home.

Wow. It feels surreal to be writing right now.

I missed you guys.

These past few months have proven to be trying and surprisingly adventurous. After plenty of soul seeking, and website building I have come to a place where I am so very happy to send bemyintention back into the big wide world of web and start diving back into your life.

I had started bemyintention with one purpose: to hold myself accountable and to challenge you, the readers, to live our lives with more intention. I had this passion to share what I was choosing for my life with each day and was enjoying hearing your feedback, and understanding how living intentionally was affecting your day to day lives, as well as seeing the fruit in my own.

But over the last year my journey has transformed in tremendous ways! Setting my blog in motion was the beginning of a snowball of growth and developing passion that I could have never anticipated or planned out.

What started as a blog about being more aware of the little moments in life sent me down a path that has taught me who I am, what I want out of my life, and the things I am passionate about. I have experienced an ability to find more self love and self worth, as well as a desire to help others grow their own confidence in that way. I have discovered a whole world of women who are standing behind each other and pushing to make the world a better place, and have started to understand the value in quality over quantity. But all of those things were a journey, and it wasn’t the smoothest transition in knowing how to apply them here. I needed to step back, quiet myself and take time to create a vision.

The confusion of where to take bemyintention started when I addressed my Capsule Wardrobe challenge. Cleaning out my closet and minimizing my wardrobe was a personal choice I had made in my intentional lifestyle, and I was thrilled to share it with everyone. It was captivating and different, and was absolutely a challenge. I began getting such incredible feedback on how I was living with such a small closet and had people asking me for more of this content. It’s where I really began seeing a following pop up. However, I never intended to be a fashion blogger.

I began struggling to see the purpose behind fashion posts, and sharing what I was wearing on a day to day. It began distracting me from what my true purpose was. Where I was torn is that fashion has always been a major passion of mine. I love every piece of it and have discovered exactly what comfort in clothing and style can do for my own personal confidence, as well as others. I’ve always enjoyed seeing how people grow in their value and self worth once they begin feeling good in their clothes. Once I began researching companies that have a higher purpose, I fell in love with fashion even more, and with a deeper value behind it. My passion for products with purpose has become completely overwhelming. If you guys knew how many hours a week I spend researching these companies you would probably think Im a crazy person. But thats what passion is all about right? Going crazy over something? So I’ve begun unexpectedly dedicating my life to researching these passion projects and wanting more than anything to be a voice for them, bringing awareness to a cause greater than myself. And greater than you. Something that matters. Something with a heart. But how do the clothes I’m wearing have anything to do with you?

So thinking about bemyintention, I needed a clearer purpose. Do I stick with fashion and be another typical fashion blogger? Do I drop it and stick to inspiring others? Or do I start standing up for these companies I believe in?

After a few months of thought and growing my personal passions I have come to a place where I am comfortable in knowing my purpose and vision and couldn’t be more excited to begin sharing that with you.

So, who am I through bemyintention? I am a friend, mentor, and movement advocate who aims to help purpose seeking women fall in love with their true selves and discover ways to make a difference in the community they are passionate about, so they can live in confidence that they have the power to change the world.

That’s what bemyintention is all about. It’s what it has always been about. I guess I just had to step back a little to realize it.

I am here to help inspire you. To encourage you and give you tools to discover your own value and worth, and wrap you up in arms of love. I am here to speak wisdom into your life, and help you find avenues to express yourself in ways that give you meaningful purpose in your life.

I guess that leaves the big question.

What can you expect to see in the future? I want to inspire you in fashion, with companies I believe in. You will find photos that I hope feel different than your standard fashion blogger. Photos that inspire and feel approachable, encouraging you to take a deeper look into what you are wearing, how it makes you feel, and who made it. I will be partnering with companies that have a purpose I believe in to offer giveaways and share their stories, so that you can be aware of all the goodness that lives in the fashion world and where to find it. You will begin seeing posts that challenge you to live with more purpose and precision in understanding who you are and how you can be the greatest version of yourself. I will be sharing stories of other women. You will be learning about the pasts that people have pushed through, the hardships they’ve experienced, and how they have overcome these things in order to live their lives with greatness.

Drumroll, please…

With no further ado, I introduce you to the new version of bemyintention.com. A version that I can’t wait to see unfold.

Thank you for being patient in this wait, and I hope that you will find it was worth it. I know I do.

If you have any questions, concerns, or excitements about the changes I would LOVE for you to share them here or in an email to bemyintention@gmail.com. You are the whole reason I do this, so your input is always welcome and wanted.

I love your hair! So pretty. 🙂 I’m wanting to have an ombre when mine gets long. Also, your site is so clean and looks very nice. Great job designing everything. Lastly, LOVE the clothes. If I was as skinny as pretty as you, I would definitely redefine my fashion. 🙂 Have a great day!

Well thank you a mill for all of the incredible compliments… But, my dear, don’t ever let your size or shape deter you from finding the style that makes you feel like the best version of yourself! Confidence and comfort in your appearance doesn’t come from the way you look or the genes you were given (how many gorgeous women are out there that are incredibly insecure?) Confidence and comfort come from knowing your own heart and finding a way to show that to the world in an outward way. YOU are incredibly beautiful, because you are you! And the world needs to see the way you love yourself and how you create confidence in that. I am so glad you stopped by and I hope to see you “face” around much more 🙂

I love this! Sometimes we do have to “step” back before we can move forward. Very encouraging and encourages others to self reflect.

It’s taken me a long time to learn that sometimes silence pushes us further than noise does. But I’m so thankful for that lesson!
