Impact: Made For More

I’ve been noticing a trend around the web, as I’ve been doing my research, that there is quite incredibly a very large community of people after the same heart. And it’s the same heart that is what created be my intention in the first place. The idea that we are made for so much more than just walking the Earth. The idea that we have purpose beyond our day to day, and that quite possibly the only way to find true satisfaction, joy and purpose in this world is to take a good hard look at your life and find out what you were put here to do. Whether that be make a difference in the small community around you or to take a stand for something worldwide, finding a reason to live and something to represent can really give your life a little more meaning.

This weeks featured shop is one that actually takes after the same heart of what bemyintention is all about. It was really cool when I came across this company to see that it started as a blog with the mindset of encouraging others to find their purpose, whatever that purpose may be.

Here’s a little of what Made For More is all about:

“Our Story

If I find in myself desires which nothing in this world can satisfy, the only logical explanation is that I was made for another world. – C.S. Lewis

Made for more began from the same thought, stuck on repeat, ‘there’s got to be more to life than this.’

This was me, Jonno Rushbrook, 23years old with the world at my fingertips, not excited by any of it. No future girl, job, travel plans or seasonal themed Oreo could carry the weight of filling me with hope.

But I soon realised this wasn’t just me. That I wasn’t alone. This was almost everyone that surrounded me.

I never met a honest person that was completely content and I soon discovered this wasn’t an entirely bad thing. That this side of heaven our hearts would always long for more from life.

In Comes A Dream

So from a conviction that I wasn’t alone and there was more to life than what the world considered normal, Made for More began.

Because the truth is we’re all chasing something that we think will satisfy us. That magical oasis that will complete all our aching desires for more out of life.

And Made for More exists to pursue it.

We exist to pursue all that we were made to be, know and experience. We’re not afraid of wanting more from life. Instead, we carry it like a torch and let it light the way.

What Does That Look Like?

It honestly looks like a lot of trial and error and a lot of resting in Jesus (yes, this is a ‘Christian’ blog, but anyone with any belief is welcome here).

It look’s like a lot of shockingly honest conversations about the often unspoken. It looks like adventures, questions, answers and the ability to say ‘you know what, I have no idea.’

It looks like being content with the pursuit of love and relationships that have no end and no limit.

A journey that no matter how far down the track we progress there will always be more awaiting those brave enough the keep pressing in.

So we are going to talk about life, love, purpose, work, faith, health, travel, dating and everything in-between. Because these are the topics that make up our life, and to get the most out of life, we need to pursue the depths of every area.

And we are going to sell high quality apparel and clothe people in purpose, hope and love.

So simply put, Made for More exists to uncover hope, love and purpose through the pursuit of all that we were made to be, know and experience.

We acknowledge that we are all guaranteed struggles, heartbreaks and tears on the journey. But that no one should need to experience them alone.

So join with us today. Anyone is welcome, anyone can make a difference.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. – Margaret Mead”
