Challenge: Be Intention Driven

Processed with VSCOcam with m5 preset

Day 1: Start living more intentionally. Challenge others to join me in taking control of our lives. Create a community of people who are encouraging each other to live with intention.

Let me explain a little further. I’ve come across a few different articles/ instagram posts/ trends this week that have gotten me super inspired. My favorite being onesmallact on instagram who has been encouraging people to join in on a 28 day challenge of doing one kind act for someone each day. You can join this challenge simply by adding #onesmallact to your photos of the kindness you are doing.

Coming across this little challenge reminded me so much of a challenge I made for myself almost exactly a year ago. The challenge was to be living each day with an intentional act in mind and follow through on that goal. Be My Intention.

Although I do strive for this often it has lost it’s daily-ness in my life and has become more of a generalization in my day to day life… which is really polar opposite of the purpose right?

So I want to get back to my roots. Today starts my Intentions Challenge.

I would love to see you join me in this challenge. Consciously choose what difference you want to make in your world each day for 30 days straight. Whether it be big or small. Maybe your intention for the day would be to spend time completely engulfed in your favorite book, guilt free. Or maybe it will be to not spend that five dollars on Starbucks. It could be doing something kind for someone else or just sitting down to make a plan for your future. Whatever it may be I’d love to see you in this challenge with me. On fb, instagram, and twitter use #bemyintention and show everyone what you are purposefully choosing to do with your day! What better way to live than with a community, right?

With Love.

Joseph and i volunteered at a non-profit organization over the weekend. We painted a house that had been tagged with graffiti and help them paint a building that will become a makerspace in the coming months. We will be going back as time is available. It felt great helping out those less fortunate.
