Style: Multi- Functional.

Ever have those days where you have so much on your plate that you’re not really sure how you’re going to get through it… or if you’re even going to at all? Today is certainly one of those days for me. It’s been a great day and full of things that I love, but was scheduled so tightly that I wasn’t sure if I’d have much of a chance to sit.

With that I had to do some major planning on the wardrobe this morning. I started my day with a private yoga class that my mom and I do together each Thursday. Now, since it’s private we are pretty much the bosses of how things go down, and my mom, yoga instructor, and I have come to decide that our weekly inspirational chatter is to take the driver’s seat, while our stretching sits nicely right beside it. It’s an unspoken agreement we’ve all come to (or so I think we’ve all agreed….) Some would view this as a negative, but I quite look forward to sharing wisdom and nurturing words with these two incredibly brave, strong, and intelligent women, and have come to find more healing in practicing this and yoga combined over doing the two things separately. On top of that I rarely get too sweaty from my session, and am able to get myself done up for my day pre workout.

That last little perk felt crucial today, as I went straight from yoga to an onsite hair appointment, into work, and lunch with a friend, then back to work again. My outfit needed to be extremely versatile: Comfortable, Stretchable, and Professional.

And here’s where joggers saved the day.

I have yet to expose this latest addition to my wardrobe, as they just came in this weekend! There’s plenty of craze around the web and fashion world, and I will never deny myself the opportunity to join a fashion craze that allows me to wear sweatpants in public. So hellooooooo gorgeous moto joggers {get them here… they run big so get a size smaller.}

Secrets about todays look:

  • Truth & Trick #1: I totally wore this outfit to my yoga class… then threw a blazer on and pointed toe flats and was ready for work and socializing.
  • Truth & Trick #2: I’m on Day 5. With the hair, that is. Notice the beanie? You didn’t believe me yesterday when I said I rarely wash my hair, right? Hats are my best friend, and with an early start this morning I skipped the wash and found my dear friend.
  • Truth & Trick #3: I kept my makeup minimal. I don’t always like looking overdone, and today felt like the perfect day for mascara, bronzer, and chapstick.

With Love.
